Rain, Rain, Rain

We've been rained on for the last 3 days in the NYC tri-state area. I don't know what I expected today, but it wasn't rain...and....it rained, lol!
It's been almost two and a half months since I got my locks put it in and they are mahvelous! They are soft with spirally curls at the ends and bounce back when I pull them and let them go. Ow! Lol! I'm lovin' them!

Denise (Dixon-Roberts) my wonderful Consultant said no products in my hair, so I have only been using the Sisterlocks Starter Shampoo.  And so I know my natural oils have been having a ball moisturizing my scalp and hair without any interference ;) I can't wait to get some more length as my hair never really shows its true length. Curling up is what it likes to do;)

Finally!!!

Yes! I got my Sisterlocks Installation, YEAH!!!!! But "finally" to being able to add a photo of myself to the blog, lol. I'm usually pretty good with the computer, but got stuck.  I was so frustrated, I got frustrated about being frustrated and refused to blog unless I figured out how to add my pic where I wanted, lol.  But now I'm cooking, YEAH!!!!!

I am now a part of the Sisterlocks Sisterhood! I think I've wanted to be sisterlocked for like 2 years now. It's done, but I don't think its fully sunk in as yet. 

In true sisterlock form I had my installation documented. From first lock to the last at 15.5 hours :) Pics will be up on my next post.

I'm counting down.....

Ten days to go to Installation!! I have been wondering if I am going to miss the two stand twists I've been wearing for the last like 4 years.  Maybe just a little bit. But I won't miss taking them all out to wash and then re-twist. Ooh wee! Love my hair though : )

Almost there

Woo hoo, my first post!!! I should be sleeping right now, but I wanted to get this blog set up. Well the date has been set and I will be getting my Sisterlocks installation on 12/26 and 12/27. Yeah!!!!!
